One of my niece is turning 8 this month and I wanted to make her something she can really enjoy. I had this beautiful dark purple and light orchid yarn and set off to make the Gidday cardigan from Ravelry. My Mom helped me pick the perfect pattern and I am loving it. I have the body of the cardigan and one arm fully knitted. I am just waiting to finish up an inch or so on the second arm, block, and finish tying in loose ends and adding the buttons. I love how this pattern has turned out and I wish I could make it in my size! I am wishing she loves it as much as I do.
